SHE BEGAN AS A POLICE OFFICER, ACTUALLY A PUBLIC SERVICE OFFICER, THEN MOVED TO THE RANK OF POLICE OFFICER, WHERE SHE SERVED AS A SCHOOL RESOURCE OFFICER, REPEAT VICTIMIZATION UNIT, HOSTAGE HOSTAGE NEGOTIATOR FOR OUR NETCASH UNIT AND BEHAVIORAL INTERVENTION UNIT. SHE HOLDS A BACHELOR'S DEGREE IN APPLIED ARTS AND SCIENCE AND A MASTER PEACE OFFICER CERTIFICATION THROUGH TCOLE.
SHE RECEIVED LIFE SAVING AWARDS IN 2003 AND 2005, AN EMPLOYEE OF THE QUARTER RECOGNITION, CERTIFICATE OF MERIT, SHE HAS RECEIVED NUMEROUS LETTERS OF APPRECIATION FROM THE PUBLIC AND HER PEERS, RECOGNIZING HER PROFESSIONALISM AND COMPASSION AND DEDICATION TO DUTY.
SHE IS AN ENCYCLOPEDIA OF BEDFORD RESIDENTS. SHE EITHER KNOWS THE PERSON PERSONALLY, SHE KNOWS SOMEONE WHO KNOWS THEM, OR SOMEONE WHO CAN TELL YOU THEIR ENTIRE LIFE STORY.
I ATTRIBUTE A LOT OF THIS TO WORKING IN THE SCHOOL DISTRICT FOR SO MANY YEARS AS A SCHOOL RESOURCE OFFICER, SHE HAD A GREAT IMPACT ON THE KIDS COMING UP WHILE SHE WAS ASSIGNED TO THE SCHOOL.
SHE HAS A UNIQUE JOB IN OUR DEPARTMENT. SHE WORKS WITH OUR BEHAVIORAL HEALTH UNIT AND WITH OUR CRIME VICTIMS. WHEN I TELL YOU THAT SHE HAS HAD AN IMPACT ON PEOPLE'S LIVES, IT'S AN UNDERSTATEMENT.
I'VE NEVER KNOWN SOMEONE WHO HAS MORE CARE AND COMPASSION FOR PEOPLE IN THEIR TIMES OF NEED.
HER COMMENDATIONS SPEAK VOLUMES TO HER CHARACTER.
THEY TYPICALLY READ LIKE THIS. OFFICER HALL GAVE ME THE CONFIDENCE AND SECURITY TO GET OUT OF AN ABUSIVE RELATIONSHIP AND SHOW ME THE VALUE I HAVE AS A PERSON, AND IT HAS SAVED MY LIFE. THIS IS NOT THE PART OF POLICING THAT THEY MAKE MOVIES OUT OF, BUT IT'S SIGNIFICANT AND LIFE CHANGING.

IF YOU RECALL, LAST JUST A FEW MONTHS AGO, MARCH 11TH, WE WERE HERE, AND YOU ACCEPTED OR APPROVED THE MOSQUITO PLAN FOR THE UPCOMING YEAR. IT PUT INTO EFFECT FIVE ZONES ACROSS THE CITY, AS OPPOSED TO A RADIUS CONCEPT WE WERE DOING PREVIOUSLY WITH WITH ADULT SITING AND LARVICIDING. ONE WEEK, IT WAS MARCH 19TH LATER, AFTER, AFTER YOU ACCEPTED THE PLAN, WE DID HEAR FROM TARRANT COUNTY THAT THEY WERE NOT ONLY DELAYING THE START OF THEIR MOSQUITO SEASON UNTIL MAY 1ST TO ALIGN WITH THE STATE HEALTH DEPARTMENT'S SEASON.
NORMALLY, THEY WOULD START WHEN? IN APRIL. WE HAD BEEN STARTING IN THE BEGINNING OF APRIL.
CORRECT. SO A WHOLE MONTH? CORRECT? YEAH. SO WHAT ELSE? SO JUST LETTING THEM KNOW THAT WE'RE, THEY'RE STARTING LATER.

SO THEY FOUND THAT MIX IN THAT BARREL. SO AT THAT POINT IN TIME, THEY KIND OF INFORM STAFF THAT THEY KNEW THAT WE HAD A POTENTIALLY SIGNIFICANT AND VERY EXPENSIVE ISSUE AT HAND.

THEY INITIALLY PUT THE THE CHILLER IN DURING CONSTRUCTION.

SO THE OTHER BENEFIT OF THOSE TYPES OF EVENTS IS THE FACT THAT WE DID GO WITH THE HEB ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CHAMBER, ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT FOUNDATION, WHICH IS ALL THREE CITIES AS WELL AS OUR REPUBLIC REPRESENTATIVE ATTENDED AS WELL.
