Proclamation declaring the month of September 2018 as Hunger Action Month in the City of Bedford.
Consider a resolution authorizing the Beautification Commission to recognize El Paisa Cocina Mexicana and The Woods of Bedford Apartments for the Business Recognition Awards; and the residents at 904 Shady Lake Drive, 1604 Staffordshire Court and 3101 Sugar Street for the Residential Recognition Awards, for maintaining, improving, and/or keeping their property visually attractive to the community.
OLD BUSINESS Consider an ordinance amending Ordinance No. 08-2906 awarding the contract to Allied Waste Services of Fort Worth, LLC, successor-in-interest to Allied Waste Systems, Inc., for Recycling Services to include Article IV. Section W. “Modification of Rates”. (Tabled at the July 24, 2018 meeting)
NEW BUSINESS Public hearing on the annual budget for the City of Bedford, Texas for the fiscal period of October 1, 2018 through September 30, 2019; levying taxes for 2018 tax year.
Public hearing to consider the proposed 2018 tax rate.
Consider a resolution authorizing the City Manager to reject all bids for the 2018 Pavement Marking Project at Various Locations.
